Katie resides in Helena with her amazing husband Sean and their two daughter. The suit notes that SH was arrested in January of on multiple felony charges. In the winter, while her husband and children are snowmobiling, Sonya is most often found at home knitting colorful hats, socks and mittens. Abigail represents a broad range of agricultural and business interests in her litigation practice, while her government relations work encompasses advocating for Montana builders and ranchers, health care professionals, and non-profit interests before both the Montana Legislature and state administrative agencies. Growing up she was an active 4-H member, participated in dance, and loved anything that had to do with horses. She graduated from Capital High School and from there started her career in the Banking industry. The suit says Thompson became increasingly physically abusive to SH as time went on. According to the lawsuit, SH was working as a confidential informant for the MRDTF when Thompson allegedly began "grooming" her for sexual exploitation by flirting with her via text messages.
